Construction Project Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, directs, and coordinates all Project-related administrative activities and works with the Project Superintendent. Has the ability to complete all assigned projects on time and within budget parameters, and in accordance with our clients' specific needs and concerns. Communicates openly and honestly; works diligently toward building long-lasting, non-adversarial, relationships with all internal and external customers.

  • Past performance managing federal contracts a plus
  • Ability to relocate with work

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good command of oral and written English language skills and the capability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read and interpret various construction-related documents; i.e., Blueprints, Bid Comparisons, Shop Drawings, Shop Drawing Logs, Owner and Subcontractor Contracts and Change Orders, Invoices, Requisitions, Safety Rules, Operating and Maintenance Instructions, and Project Administration Manuals.

Computer software: Working knowledge of Prolog

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid State of Florida driver's license and must be able to travel in tri-county area.

Physical Demands: Capacity to visit Project work sites in various stages of completion; traversing over construction type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conduct visual inspections for quality of construction and materials being used in construction.

Location: Fort Lauderdale

Communicates openly and honestly; works diligently toward building long-lasting, non-adversarial, relationships with all internal and external customers.

  • Hand on approach to get the job done
  • Strong organizational skills
  • US Veteran a plus!

Education/Experience: Secondary education and two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good command of oral and written English language skills and the capability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read and interpret various construction related documents; i.e., Blueprints, Bid Comparisons, Shop Drawings, Shop Drawing Logs, Owner and Subcontractor Contracts and Change Orders, Invoices, Requisitions, OSHA Regulations, Safety Rules, Operating and Maintenance Instructions, and Project Administration Manual.

Computer software: Working knowledge of construction software

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: OSHA 30, CQMC a plus, Valid State of Florida driver's license and must be able to travel in tri-county area. Physical Demands of Position: Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction, and performing general carpentry tasks.

Drywall Mechanics

Commercial Drywall (Palm Beach County and Miami) Experienced commercial drywall mechanics wanted. Supervisors, metal stud framers, drywall hangers, finishers, and insulators. Carpenter skills a plus. All commercial projects are in a healthcare environment. Pay will start at $15/hr and go up depending on experience and skill level. Must be a US citizen and have own transportation. Projects are located in Palm Beach County and Miami. US Veteran is a plus!!!
